A Port Charlotte couple is behind bars, facing felong drug charges for the second time in a month.

Police stopped a pickup truck carrying 23-year old Matthew Nero and 19-year old Alexa Powers on Sunday for broken taillights.

After a K9 unit alerted officers to the presence of drugs, police searched the truck and found cocaine, meth, needles, scales, and baggies.

Both face a long list of drug charges.
