Two Port Charlotte pastors were rushed to the hospital this afternoon after being shocked by power lines as they trimmed trees outside a church. The two men, whose names have not been released, were performing the work at Community Life Church when the bucket of their lift truck made contact with power lines. Power crews executed an emergency shutdown of the local grid so emergency responders could gain access to the patients, who were airlifted to Blake Memorial Hospital in Bradenton. Both are expected to fully recover.
