The YMCA Center report six kayaks and a silver canoe were taken from its Bayshore Road facility in Charlotte Harbor yesterday. CCSO reports the YMCA camp director notified them the kayaks and canoe had been secured with a padlock Friday. Monday, they were gone and the padlock appeared to have been cut. Checking the area, she noticed two more kayaks had been taken from a storage shed that had also been accessed by cutting a padlock. The value of the missing items is just over $2100.
