A notorious 911 caller from Punta Gorda has done it again.
Maria Montanez-Colon made news worldwide in February for calling it to get a date with a policeman.
Now NBC2 says that on Friday, the 59-year-old Montanez-Colon called to report a theft.
Police say she gave some of her dead husband’s things to her stepson last year, then changed her mind.
The officers told Montanez-Colon they knew all about her claims. As they left, she screamed some uncomplimentary things about them.
When the officers heard what Montanez-Colon said about them, they came back and arrested her.
