Will Sarasota high wire artist Nik Wallenda wear a lifeline when he wire walks across Niagara Falls? Looks like he will. Wallenda, the seventh generation of world-famous high wire artists, is set to talk a tight wire over the American Falls on the Canadian side next month. The event culminating months of negotiations between Wallenda and governments on both sides of the border. Now comes word that since the event will be televised live by ABC, the network is insisting on tethering him to the wire. That will be a first for Wallenda, who says he’s never before worn a safety device.
