No one even knows how many state senators you’ll be able to vote for next fall but one thing IS certain: election districts and precincts are changing. One of the effects of the re-districting that was required following the 2010 Census is that where you vote may change for the November election. In fact, election officials say as many as fifty voting precincts may disappear altogether. While plans are still be finalized, one pattern is already emerging: more voters are choosing to skip the polls altogether on election day and vote early by mail-in absentee ballots.
