A first look today at one of the would-be robbers of a pair of Wells-Fargo banks. In video sent to news organizations by the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office, the nervous-looking man enters the bank branch on Tamiami Trail. He’s clearly seen in a view from above and behind a teller as he apparently asks her for some information. She takes some time to hand him a card, during which bored customers wait in line behind him. Then, the robber clearly shows part of a hand gun concealed in the waist of his jeans and points to a cash drawer. After a short delay, during which he receives no money, he’s seen walking out of the front doors. Investigators say they’re receiving quite a but of valuable information so far.
