There will be a planned water outage in the city of Venice from 11 p.m. Thursday to 6 a.m. Friday due to a water main repair. The area affected will be all of Tarpon Center Drive, Gibbs Road and Inlet Circle. Those in the affected area will be required to boil water for consumption only, which includes drinking and cooking, for 72 hours and until the boil water advisory has been rescinded.
