They’re going really local to find solutions to traffic problems in Venice. The Herald-Tribune reports 11 city residents have been named to a new Traffic Advisory Task Force. Their job is to talk with anyone and everyone about their ideas for improving traffic in Venice and pass it along to city officials. City Manager Ed Lavallee says they don’t want to presume anything, but want to hear what the city’s residents think are the best solutions for issues like traffic signals, speed limits, parking, bike paths and pedestrian safety.
