Venice Police got the break they were hoping for July 30 when a burglary suspect was arrested in North Port and confessed to several burglaries in Venice. Venice detectives were contacted so they could interview the suspect, which resulted in the arrests of Bryce Holder (born Nov. 16, 1986), Richard Olsson (born Sept. 26, 1986), and Amber Kelly (born Feb. 29, 1987) at various times between Aug. 5-9. They were charged with armed burglary, trafficking in stolen property, grand theft of a firearm, and grand theft auto is association with crimes that took place in neighborhoods on the island earlier in the year. The investigation is ongoing and more arrests are expected.
