Venice Police have arrested two people accused of a crime in Bradenton.
Police say officers yesterday heard to watch for a vehicle that suspects from an armed home invasion drove.
The vehicle’s tag indicated that it belonged to a Venice resident.
An officer recognized the vehicle near Pinebrook and Edmondson roads. Police say he followed the car onto I-75. The highway patrol helped him stop it.
Venice Police and Manatee County detectives interviewed 25-year-old Jeffrey McGhee and 24-year-old Clara Edwards at the station. After that, McGhee and Edwards both went to the South Sarasota County Jail.
