29-year-old Curt Rud of Venice has been arrested. He was the man police allege was driving the wrong way on May Street and Bayfront Drive early May 24th when he hit a full taxi head on. The Herald-Tribune reports Rud’s charged with leaving the scene of a crash involving death, and knowingly driving on a suspended license. 51-year old James Elias of Massachusetts died of injuries from the collision.
