The city of Venice has its annual Hurricane Preparation Seminar at Venice City Hall Friday, from 8 a.m. – noon. You’ll hear from City Manager Ed Lavallee, Fire Chief Jim Warman, Police Chief Tom McNulty, City Engineer Kathleen Weeden, American Red Cross Community Education Director Cindy Desmond, Sarasota County Emergency Management Chief Ed McCrane and ABC7 meteorologist Bob Harrigan.
