Seven outstanding student/athletes from Venice High School made their future intentions known Wednesday on signing day. From the baseball team, Shane Shifflett is going to the University of Florida, Caleb Williams to High Point University in North Carolina and Kyle Bachle to Rollins College in Winter Park. From the softball team, Elise Rivera signed with Florida Southwestern State College in Fort Myers. From the volleyball team, Ashley Kot is going to College of Coastal Georgia. And from the track and field team, Neil Blake signed with Wingate University in North Carolina and Kyle Marois with the University of North Florida in Jacksonville.
