One of three proposed subdivisions builder Pat Neal’s planned for Venice got tentative City Council approval today. The Council’s agreed to schedule a 2nd public hearing on Winwood, a gated 90-home community on 46-acres of land on Pinebrook Road, south of Laurel Road. Half of the land for Winwood, will be kept as open space. The Herald-Tribune reports Council member Dave Sherman’s not thrilled with parts of the project, including having sidewalks on only one side of Pinewood Road. He wants sidewalks on both.
