A 39-year-old Venice man suffered critical injuries today when an SUV turned in front of his motorcycle at the intersection of Shamrock Boulevard and Bamboo Drive. The Florida Highway Patrol says he was taken to Sarasota Memorial Hospital. The Herald-Tribune reports the driver of the SUV, 48-year old Dana Wagner-Sacino, was cited for violating the motorcyclist’s ight of way. She wasn’t hurt.
