A Venice man is facing an aggravated battery charge following a shooting Monday morning in north Sarasota. Police say Kevin Kelly was involved with a dispute over money with 23-year-old David Morse in the 2000 block of 13th Street in Sarasota. Kelly was inside a parked car while Morse was standing outside of the passenger door when Kelly shot through the open window, striking Morse. Police say Morse’s injury was not life-threatening.
