The United Way of Charlotte County continues its campaign season.
The organization last month announced a fundraising goal of $900,000 for this season. So far, it has raised $200,000.
The Charlotte Sun reports United Way executive director Carrie Hussey saying the organization relies on the trust of local businesses and community members.
The season runs until March.
