Teen accused of killing two men in Sarasota last April will be in court in March.
Prosecutors says that if 16 year old Shawn Tyson doesn’t take a plea deal in connection with the deaths of 25 year old James Cooper and James Kouzaris, his trial is set to start on March 19 — Tyson’s 17th birthday. Cooper and Kouzaris were at a Sarasota bar when they were shot as they walked in to a housing complex. Tyson had been held in connection with another shooting just days before the pair was found dead.
