The Florida Highway Patrol’s investigating a crash this afternoon between two semi’s on SR-31 between Bermont Road and the DeSoto County Line. Charlotte County Fire & EMS officials say an empty gravel truck was hit from behind. The drivers of both trucks were airflighted to Lee Memorial Hospital.
