CCSO detectives working with an FBI task force, have arrested two Port Charlotte men in two separate incidents for alleged possession of child pornography. In one case, CCSO’s Computer Crimes Unit looking into the distribution of Child Porn in the county. That led to the arrest of 30-year old James Blaisdell on 10 counts of Possessing an Image of a Sexual Performance by a Child. He’s in the Charlotte County Jail on a total $100,000 bond. The other case was similar, and led to the arrest of 33 -year old Anthony Hartwig on 10 counts of Possessing an Image of a Sexual Performance by a Child. He’s being held without bond pending his First Appearance hearing.
