Two Lee County nurses got their hands on lots of Oxycodone, and not legally.
No, they spent five months collecting five thousand Oxycodone tablets from several pharmacies, including some in Lee County. Now, 52 year old Kimberly Curry and 55 year old Debra Himes, from Cape Coral, face felony charges of obtaining a controlled substance by fraud. The nurses are in the Lee County Jail. Three law enforcement agencies were involved in the arrests, and say it was part of an ongoing effort to stop distribution of prescription drugs.
