Punta Gorda Police arrested two people as they served warrants. They and the Charlotte County Sheriff’s SWAT team, served the first
search warrant at 520 Burland Street. Officers arrested 21 year old Troy L. McClary
on six drug related charges McClary was taken to the Charlotte County Jail on $9,000 bond. The charges resulted from an
investigation in which McClary sold marijuana on two separate occasions to a confidential
informant. The second warrant was served on Slashpine Circle, Unit 111 and arrested 21 year old Corey Labarrie on four drug related charges. He too was held on $9,000 bond as Labarrie also sold marijuana to a confidential informant on two separate occasions. The two search warrants and investigations are unrelated.
