Charlotte County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Port Charlotte homeless couple on Monday after deputies searched their motor home and found a possible meth lab.

CCSO said they got a call around 10 a.m. on Monday from someone who said a woman ran out of the motor home in Charlotte Harbor, yelling that it was going to blow up. Deputies got to the location in the 23 hundred block of Bayshore Road, established a perimeter and 37 year old Richard Thomas Parsons and 35 year old Judena Mae Shafer ran out of the motor home. Both denied that there was meth inside, but when detectives found evidence of methamphetamine, they were both arrested and taken to jail on 25 hundred dollars bond each.
