The state fire marshal’s office says this mornings fire at Two Brothers Restaurant in Punta Gorda may have been caused by an electrical problem. The fire, which destroyed the popular blues club, broke out a little befopre 5a.m. Authorities say the fire started in the office. NBC2 reports the 44-year old former bus station opened as a restaurant last May. Fire officials say replacing the electrical system could cost as much as $10,000.
