Sarasota County Sheriff’s deputies arrested 2-men last night after an apparent drug deal turned into an armed robbery. An 18-year old told detectives he and a friend were robbed when they met Tyrone Tyson and Marcus Jackson in the 3100 block of Hawthorne Street. The Herald-Tribune reports the victim told investigators they were there to buy crack. Deputies arrested Tyson and Jackson during a traffic stop. No gun was found. Tyson and Jackson were charged with armed robbery.
