A wreck earlier this morning shut down all southbound lanes of Interstate 75 near Venice for about three hours. Two trucks collided near mile marker 189 just before 6am, sparking a fire that pushed highway traffic onto surface roads and causing backups during the morning rush hour. One of the drivers was treated for minor injuries.
