Over 250 trespass warnings were issued last weekend by a coalition of law enforcement agencies to people trespassing in the Scarecrow Farms area of Punta Gorda. Authorities say a large number of people have been using the area, Off US41 South of Punta Gorda as a free and unsupervised off-road rec area. Anyone who’s issued a trespass warning and is caught in the same area again, is subject to arrest. The ticket writers included CCSO and the Florida Agricultural Crimes Intelligence Unit.
