A toddler was killed Monday evening after a pickup truck failed to stop at a stop sign in Buckingham. Mitchell Buenrostro, 17, was driving the truck west on Sunset Road near the intersection of Gunnery Road North when he failed to stop at the stop sign and T-boned a car, killing 5-year-old Connor Green of Fort Myers. No alcohol was involved in the crash. The Florida Highway Patrol said the crash remains under investigation and charges are pending.
