They’ll be after speeders on Hillsborough Boulevard between Kenilworth and Cranberry Boulevards in Port Charlotte; and on Palcida Road between Gasparilla Road and SR 776 in Englewood. Traffic light enforcement this week will be at the intersections of El Jobean Road and Flamingo Boulevard and Peachland and Veterans Boulevards. The State Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles, Charlotte County has 20 vehicle deaths so far this year; there were 11 at this time last year.
