The North Port Police Department is investigating a theft at North Port High School. Officials say an estimated $6,385 worth if equipment was stolen.
NPHS baseball coach Rob Rowe told police he found a door unlocked and that several pieces of equipment were missing.
Police say school security cameras caught two people walking through the ball field.
They were later seen on camera leaving the area with a large equipment bag and several baseball bats.
A silver SUV was also captured on video leaving the school with the suspects.
