The Highway Patrol’s saturation patrol for drunk drivers netted ten D-U-I arrests in Bismarck-Mandan. The Patrol says it made a dozen other alcohol-related arrests and wrote citations for 53 other violations. A saturation patrol puts more officers than usual in an area and concentrates on specific violations such as driving drunk. They’re used primarily around holiday periods.
