Two teachers are expected to be okay after lightning struck the building they were standing near. The incident happened yesterday at Literacy Leadership Technology Academy during dismissal time. Four teachers were standing outside when lightning hit the building, causing damage to the roof. One of the teachers who felt the strike was holding an umbrella. The other teacher was walking under a metal covered walkway. Classes were cancelled today because of the damage.
