Remember the story we told you recently about the bus driver who left a three year old on the school bus?
Now, the superintendent of Sarasota County Schools, Lori White says she wants the driver, Sandra Runck fired. The 60 year old Runck was supposed to have dropped the three year old off at Toledo Blade Elementary on September 16, but instead forgot the child. Runck had a flat tire on the bus, called for help got it fixed and still did not notice the boy, sitting in his car seat, and he’d been there for two hours. The school board says its not Runck’s first offense, but Runck says she’ll retire so she can collect her benefits.
