Four downtown intersections along U.S. 41 Business in Venice are getting a makeover. Crews start widening the intersection at Indian Avenue on the 17th. The project will allow a dedicated right-turn lane on westbound Indian onto northbound U.S. 41 Business. The sidewalk on the south side will be replaced and the southeast corner will be upgraded to ADA standards. July 7th’s the start of work on the intersections at Tampa, Venice and Miami Avenues will also be made ADA compliant and improve safety for all pedestrians.
