State health officials say Florida may have its first locally-acquired case of Zika.

The health department says the CDC has joined it in investigating a case that may stem from Miami-Dade County.

All confirmed cases in Florida up to this point have started outside the country.

State health officials say Florida’s tally of Zika cases has reached 326. This includes 43 women that have caught the virus, and at least one who has given birth to a child with microcephaly.

Miami-Dade County has a quarter of the state’s cases.
