A wet road contributed to a crash in Solana yesterday.
The highway patrol says 20-year-old Christopher Ponader of Fort Myers lost control of his Toyota Tundra on I-75 southbound and went to Charlotte Regional with minor injuries.
The patrol claims the trailer began to fish tail in the center lane and hit the vehicle’s left rear fender. The trailer swung around and collided with the guardrail. It stopped facing south, leaning on the guardrail.
The vehicle began sliding sideways on the interstate and subsequently rolled over. It stopped facing east.
The patrol ticketed Ponader for failing to display registration for the trailer.
