A man already doing life for one murder will go on trial for six others.
Forty-one year old Jeremy Sly is in prison for the Collier County murder of a North Carolina\a woman in Naples and prosecutors said he’s also responsible for the killings of a Port Charlotte couple and a North Port family of four in 1991. Police said the couple was killed execution style in their home, then about three miles away, most of the members of a family were killed. While Sly admitted to the killings nine years ago, investigators said they had to verify the information. so nine years after his confession, Sly will go on trail. To this day, Sly’s accomplices are still at large.
