Another honor for Siesta Public Beach. AARP’s ranked it as its No. 1 beach to visit this year. The Herald-Tribune reports the AARP list placed Hawaii’s LaniKai Beach No. 2, and Trunk Bay on St. John in the Virgin Islands was No. 3. Siesta was the only Florida spot to make the association’s top 12 list. So far this year, Siesta Beach’s been named the #1 spot in the nation on TripAdvisor.coms 2015 “Travelers’ Choice Awards,” as well as a top spring break location by Yahoo Travel.
