Charlotte County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man last night when he and a deputy exchanged gunfire in front of a Port Charlotte bingo hall. Deputies said 54 year old Henry Holbrook went into the Bingo hall waving a gun looking for someone, and when a deputy arrived, he started firing. One of the man’s bullets shattered the front door of Dollar General, next door to the bingo hall. The deputy returned fire and when back up arrived, Holbrook was arrested.
