A sheriff’s deputy has won Officer of The Year in Lee County.
Sgt. James Chitwood has taken home the honor at the annual Law And Order Ball.
Chitwood has spent over two decades with the sheriff’s office.
He supervises the intelligence unit of the office’s Fort Myers DEA task force.
