Sentencing delayed for a woman convicted of being part of a husband-and-wife Ponzi Scheme on the Sun Coast. Marian Morgan will now be sentenced in January after her attorney said he needed more time to go through the voluminous transcripts of the case. Morgan and her husband John were convicted in September of running a Sarasota-based Ponzi Scheme that defrauded investors of 28-million dollars. John Morgan was sentenced to ten years in prison in a plea deal. Marian Morgan will be sentenced on 22 fraud counts. Prosecutors said the couple ran their Morgan European Holdings scheme out of a post office box while living in a bayfront mansion.
