The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office continues looking for a man who disappeared on Saturday night.
It says 59-year-old David Birchfield vanished from Loveland Boulevard in Port Charlotte.
The office describes Birchfield as intoxicated at the time and not on his medication. It claims this combination makes him a danger to himself and others.
Birchfield left his residence on a red rusty 10-speed bicycle with tan forks and black handle bars. He wore beige pants, a light colored t-shirt, white sneakers, and glasses.
Birchfield has no facial hair at the moment. The sheriff’s office says he frequents the Easy Does It on Harper Avenue.
