Sarasota Kennel Club can finish its greyhound racing season in April, but reopening for next year’s races may prove costly.
The Herald-Tribune reports the state ordering track operators to replace all wooden cages with metal crates. The state has cited unsanitary and dangerous conditions in giving the order.
The track now has until Apr. 19 to comply.
