Eight people have made the first cut in the process to select a new Sarasota county administrator. Of the eight, only two are from out of state, and one is the former Longboat Key town manager. The county commission will further narrow the list to three to five candidates next week and make a final selection a week after that. Your chance to meet the candidates will be at one of two public meet-and-greet events November 13th and 14th.
