Today starts the annual sales tax-free weekend for school supplies. This weekend parents can expect to save six percent on school supplies, including “big-ticket” items such as electronics. This year, there is a new limit on tax-free items of clothing. It’s now at $100 — which is up from $75. For those “big-ticket” items, such as computers, the first $750 is tax-exempt.
