The 70th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor today – and for 83 members of Riverview High School’s Kiltie Band, it was a personal experience. The Kilties coordinating with nearly a dozen other high school marching bands at the USS Arizona Memorial in Hawaii for a patriotic concert. The band has been rehearsing for the event for the past six weeks. Fundraisers have covered most of the expenses, but baggage fees will leave the band some $7,000 short.
