The reward has increased to find the driver in February’s hit-and-run death in Port Charlotte.

The Peace River Riders Bicycle Club has offered a thousand dollars for information on who killed 14-year-old Devin Federly.

That brings the reward total to $2,000.

Federly rode his bike with friends on Sheehan Boulevard southbound that night.

Witnesses say a silver, single cab, older model pickup traveled north as it moved into the southbound lane.

The truck hit Federly. The driver drove away quickly.
