An aviation industry consultant sees the region in good position to have air service from Paris or London in the next five years.
Mike Boyd from Boyd Group International also sees American flights to Cuba as a “huge” deal 10 years from now.
Boyd has spoken at the annual conference of the Florida Airports Council at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Resort and Spa in Bonita Springs.
The conference continues through tomorrow. The News-Press reports it focuses on the future of Florida’s aiports when it comes to air service, workforce development and retention, infrastructure, and airspace.
