Some thought the red tide was gone. It’s not. Sarasota officials are warning you to keep your pets out of the water. While most of the red tide bloom has moved offshore, it’s still lingering in estuaries across the region. In fact, wildlife officials found medium to high concentrations in Sarasota Bay in samples taken Monday. Some of the highest concentrations were found near Bird Key Park.
